Main Menu ^

The area above is the Main Menu shown in a horizontal orientation (left to right). On this page, you can see that the menu is a bit different than on the others--this is a control that you have in your toolbox!

 

Site Width and Background:

Your Site Width is fixed and defines the working space for your site--800 pixels in this example.  

 

The Site Background Color is applied to the site workspace--white in this example.

 

Content Panel (Main):

This area represents a panel--one of several that comprise the template for this page.  Panels can be transparent, tinted, bordered on any/all sides (or a combination) or transparent.  In this case, the panel is transparent, showing the white site background color.  The panel at right is different.

 

Sample Paragraph Styles:

There are six pre-set Heading types that are available from the editor--this ensures consistent text treatment across any pages that use the same styles.

This is typically the largest size and in this example is in Bold.

 

Heading 2

This is typically the second largest font size and in this example is in Bold.

 

Heading 3

This is typically the third largest font size and in this example is in Bold.

 

Heading 4

The above is the fourth largest font size in Bold.

 

Heading 5

The above is slightly larger than normal default font size ("2" in this case) with Bold.

 

Heading 6

This is the last of the heading sizes--it is based on the default size ("2") and Bold.

Content Panel

This is a Content Panel  with a border and fill creating separation and contrast to the white site background color. 

 

Notice that the font color is black which is a skin setting for this tinted panel.  You may specify your default color for each panel.

 

Normal Text

This is the body of an article in normal paragraph style--Tahoma 2 in this case. 

 

Linked Text

Below is an example of linked text:

In this example, the font changes color and an underline added when a link is created.

 

Bulleted Text

This is a bulleted list:

  • Bullet 3

 

Numbered Text

This is a numbered list:

  3. Number 3

 

Browser Background>

The area outside the fixed width will grow/or shrink with the user's browser window.  In this example it is a tone on tone horizontal pinstripe.
